In 2011 the Tulsa Oilers wore a special "Ice breaker"
jersey.
These jerseys were designed
and made by GameWorn.com.
They are fully sublimated while the word "Oilers"
the name plate and 2 color tackle twill numbers are all sewn on.
All jerseys do have a fight strap.
 
These jersey were
suppose to be used for 2009-10 pregame warm-ups, but instead
names were added and jerseys were worn for at least one
confirmed game.
All jerseys worn that
game Mar 08, 2011 will be considered game worn.

In spite of a 3-2 overtime loss to the Wichita Thunder
Tuesday night, the Tulsa Oilers locked up their first
playoff berth since 2005. The point the Oilers earned,
combined with the Laredo Bucks 2-1 loss to the Arizona
Sundogs assured the Oilers postseason appearance.
After
a scoreless first period John Mori stole the puck in
behind the Wichita net while the Oilers were shorthanded
and stuffed it in on a wraparound for a 1-0 lead. Former
Oiler Aaron Davis tied it on a breakaway. The Oilers
reclaimed the lead when Tom dignard poked the puck free at
his own blueline and raced the length of the ice blasting
home a 20 foot shot that made it 2-1.
Another former Oiler Mike Looby tied it in the third
period jamming the puck through a mass of humanity from
theright wing. Troy Schwab knocked the puck inside the
right post with 43 seconds left in overtime to give
Wichita the win The Oilers lost in overtime to the Wichita
Thunder (3-2) but it was still enough to earn their spot
thanks to the Arizona Sundogs 2-1 win over the Laredo Bucks.
