Wear/Info: In December of 95 the Canadiens traded Patrick Roy and captain Mike Keane to the Avalanche in Colorado. As a result, Pierre Turgeon became the Habs’ captain as the days closed in on the closing of the Forum later that season. This gorgeous red #77 Canadiens jersey has the double-twill white and blue captain’s "C" sewn onto the left breast along with double-twill numbers on the back and each sleeve. Turgeon’s surname is spelled out in individual white twill letters sewn onto a red nameplate. Turgeon has signed in black marker the left side of the back of the jersey, which has its original fight strap, a size 54 fly tag and NHL Center Ice Authentic Collection tag in the neck. This sensational captain’s gamer exhibits light wear, with a puck mark and a couple of board burns on the right sleeve to note. An amazing collectors’ piece that will conjure up images of Turgeon carrying the torch from the Forum to the team’s new home, originally named the Molson Centre, in March 1996. $995

This road blue air-knit gamer was worn by Ray Schultz circa
the late 1990’s. Schultz skated for the New York Islanders over the course of 6
different seasons spanning the late 1990’s into the early 2000’s. He spent the
majority of his minor league playing career in the AHL, but also played in the
WHL and IHL. Known as a tough guy, Ray didn’t disappoint during his time with
the Islanders as he averaged about 3.5 PIMS per game, racking up 155 PIMS in a
mere 45 games. His minor league averages don’t disappoint either, as Ray saw a
number of 200+ PIM seasons.
The game wear on this sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, board paint
transfer and inner pilling. Fight abuse is readily evident by viewing the rear
neckline, which was torn down into the nameplate area and subsequently repaired
by the Islanders. The reinforcement to the nameplate was later loosened in
presumably another scuffle. Also worthy of mention are the stitch pops and minor
tearing at the front of the collar as well as stitch popping on the lower rear
player number where the fight strap attaches. A nice offering from this tough to
find goon. $165

Wear/Info: This CCM jersey is approx a size 50-52. Having the fight strap cut out, This was the first season the Penguins used a CCM jersey. This jersey has the numbers heat pressed on the sleeves and back as well as having the crest screen printed on the front. The name is heat pressed onto a plate and then sewn onto the jersey. The only thing that is sewn ON is the CCM on the hem. All this printing dose not take away from the value of this jersey that is now 24 years old. The wear on this jersey is very good with very nice marks and great interior wear. The neck is stretched and slightly "popped" in the front. everything including name is still original.$995
