1929-30 Rhode Island Reds team signed stick.

This stick is nicely signed by each player including the mascot. very legible and overall great condition for a stick signed over 80 years ago.


Original 29-30 Rhode Island Reds Wool Banner.

Massive 12-foot banner in red and black felt hung for decades from the rafters in the Rhode Island Auditorium. Giant felt letters pronounce "RI Reds, 29- 30 CAN-AM Champs, Fountaine Cup". In excellent condition considering its age.  Incredible size about 12 feet long and 4 feet wide, all original. (notice the once white letters now yellow)

mid 60's # 9 Fred Glover - Cleveland Barons
One of the best ever to play in the AHL. Original tie down, and blood stains on this fighter jersey. Signed on the inside.

"...It was in Cleveland that Glover forged his place in league history as one of its greatest players ever."

...only Gordie Howe and Maurice Richard had scored more goals in all of professional hockey.

Glover currently sits in second place on the AHL’s all-time lists for goals, assists, points and games, and third in penalty minutes. He is also third in points (104), tied for second in goals (48), fifth in assists (56) and second in games played (120) in Calder Cup Playoff action. His 17 Calder Cup postseason appearances are a league record, and his seven postseason All-Star Team berths and five First Team selections are both more than any other forward in AHL history.

Glover played 992 regular-season games in a Cleveland Barons uniform, the most ever by one player for one AHL team. His number 9 was retired by the club in 1969.

# 5 Ray Clearwater- 1969-1971 Providence Reds

This jersey was game used and worn from 1969-71, Providence Reds, road jersey. This very rare and seldom seen tie down jersey was worn only two seasons and has remained as one of the most popular and sought after vintage style Reds jerseys. This size 46 Cosby, durene jersey was worn by defenseman Ray Clearwater and is in excellent condition in everyway. It exhibits nice game wear and has retained it's solid color


# 14 Morris "Moe" Stefaniw- 1971-72 Providence Reds

This authentic and original game used and worn only during the 71-72 season. This very rare tie down is always confused with the jerseys worn in 52-53. The jersey has a Chuck Scherza autograph on the front because the original owner thought it was worn by Mr. Scherza in 52'

This was the last style worn at the Providence Auditorium before moving downtown.


In 1973 the Reds moved just a short distance away, but to many hockey fans it could have been around the world. life was not the same at the Providence civic center. ( now known as the dunkin donuts center)

Pierre Mondou's 1975-76 Dudley "Red" Garrett Trophy as AHL's Outstanding Rookie

This Dudley "Red" Garrett Memorial Trophy was presented to Pierre Mondou as the AHL's outstanding rookie during the 75-76 season. In 1975 Mondou had 34 goals and 77 points in his pro debut with the Nova Scotia Voyageurs. The trophy stands 19" tall overall and weighs 12 1/2 lbs., with a 13 1/2" tall copper-colored cup displaying the AHL logo on the front and a skating hockey player statue on top. The 14 3/4" x 7 1/2" wood base stands 5 1/2" tall with a plaque with the trophy's and Mondou's names, team and season on the front.

In 1977 the Gulls were approved as an expansion franchise in the AHL. Due to the financial strain in the higher league, the Gulls were unable to complete the 1977–78 schedule, folding on February 10, 1978 just 46 games into the 80 game schedule
 
 
 

 
# 4 Lee Keller - Binghamton Broome Dusters
 
This jersey always breaks the heart of Providence fans.
At the end of the 1977 season Providence moved to Binghamton.
 
The Dusters played in the American Hockey League in from 1978-80. This Stall and Dean, Steichens jersey is fully tagged. Still has the original nameplate and NOB, which is virtually unheard of for teams from this era. I all but guarantee you won't find a better Dusters jersey
